Solar Zone for

innovation

sustainability

clean energy

education

Universities and Schools have a long tradition of innovative role in US. They have always been at the frontier of putting new behavior into practice.

The importance of academia's involvement into sustainability is needed like never before. With the record high temperatures and visible devastated consequences of climate change, immediate action is required to reduce Planet’s dependence on fossil fuels.

To do so, we need to create a new generation of young leaders who will have a clear understanding and comprehensive knowledge about sustainability, clean energy resources and Smart City concept.

This is the main goal of Solar Zone concept.

This is the Solar Zone!

EnGoPlanet wants to partner with universities and schools. Together with you we want to create Solar Zones within your campus. The Solar Zone could be a square, street, pathway or other place on campus where we would install our innovative Solar Lights and Benches. This area will be transformed into a hotspot of social gathering where students and campus guests will have direct exposure to solar energy applications and its benefits.

Benefits

savings

EnGoPlanet solutions are economically practical option to light up public areas at university. They are completely powered by solar energy which means the energy is free and renewable. There are no electricity bills.

educational tool

The Solar Zone may well be used as the open classroom where professors can give lessons to students about different subjects that involve sustainability. This installation will be a visible sustainability statement that will encourage students to implement concept further.

safety & security

The campus that will have more illuminated areas and responsive urban furniture, such as public lights and benches, will significantly increase safety and security of students and campus guests. In addition to

safety and security, solar public lighting will expand operation hours of remote areas that are not currently covered by electricity access and utilized in full capacity.

Students'

involvement

Students are the main drivers of this project. They  will be directly involved in all phases of the project, from choice of locations for installations, color of the units, final features, and active during installation. Affter installation they will be main beneficiary of installed equipment.

green building

This project will obtain you more sustainability tracking assessment and increase rating with green building organizations. Through this project your university will qualify to obtain LEED credits in many areas, such as, Sustainable Sites, Light Pollution Reduction, On-site Renewable Energy…

To create new leaders who will protect our planet, academia needs to educate students about clean energy resources. Solar energy is by far the cleanest and most efficient renewable source of energy currently available. Unfortunately, many people and students don’t have a basic understanding about this very important technology.

EnGoPlanet solar solutions will provide free services that students and campus guests will use daily, such as public lighting, WiFi Hot Spot, Charging station for mobile phones etc.

The Solar zone will create social gathering areas where students will relax and enjoy fully in benefits of having innovative solar equipment at their campus.
